A view down the alley toward the historic Alhambra Theatre on Main Street in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The inside of the theater is styled after the Alhambra Palace in Grenada, Spain. The theater was opened in 1928 for live stage shows and silent movies. It reopened in 1983 as a performing arts center.

I have always liked photography but developed a passion for it over the last decade. I was influenced and taught by an online photography group from Canada. I've spent many hours studying rules and technique and looking at photography. My camera goes with me everywhere. I take hundreds of photos every week and my eyes and brain are constantly looking and thinking in terms of images. I live in the Pennyrile, Land Between the Lakes region and among the beautiful rolling hills and green farmland of Kentucky. You can't help but enjoy nature and outdoor photography in a place like this. Photography is more than just a hobby or job. It satisfies my creativity and makes me see life in a different way.
